Going on a green laneby ~jchanders

A lovely green lanes running through the corn fields towards the country-house Verwolde near Laren in the Dutch province of Gelderland. Who would not like to walk there? Especially on this late September afternoon when all the other people had gone.
Actually this lane is leading to the "thick tree", too, that old oak-tree giant which you could see on one of my earlier submissions.

Actually they are not cut trees but poles that were placed there to prevent tractors etc. to plough up the footpath on the right. But it seems that no tractor or car has been on the broad path either for a long time.
