In memory of a great tree

Today a year ago a heavy storm hit the Netherlands, one of the heaviest in many years. A great number of trees were lost. Among them was this beautiful old dead oak-tree!

After all the many shots of it on this gallery, here another one taken a few months earlier. The tree was situated near Maartensdijk in the Netherlands
