Another shot taken on Easter Monday morning in the forests near Hilversum/The Netherlands. Also a great success on Redbubble. So I hope you will like it too.

Wow, it really looks like some place from LOTR books, when Frodo was running to Bree and ahead. ;) A little scary but still amazing!

Thank you for this amazing photo. I am a novelist working on a sequel titled, "Flight into Darkness". The main character has lived in a dark place for many years. His lifeline remains his lovely wife. I would like to share the paragraph that I was working on when I came upon this photo in search of a visual image for one sentence in the paragraph (note: this paragraph is in draft form). See if you can locate the sentence your photo has inspired.

Thanks,

Mike Coe

He found solace in the solitude of early morning. He walked to the sliding-glass door which opened onto a patio and small enclosed backyard. The black of night had finally yielded to twilight, releasing the colorless world from its prison of darkness. He sipped his coffee, taking a moment to admire the garden. With more light came more beauty. Calmer shades of green from elephant ears, pygmy date palms, and creeping ivy showcased the eye-popping effect of delicate roses of various hues, lavender, lilac, climbing bougainvillea, hibiscus, geraniums, hummingbird trumpets, baby blue eyes, bird of paradise, and more. All the credit went to Keri for creating a garden design that was aesthetically pleasing with an attractive, inviting appearance. It was a sanctuary of peace in the middle of a chaotic world, much like Keri was his anchor in life, his sanctuary. The sense of her touch, the sight of her smile, or the sound of her laughter never failed to cast a light on the dark path that he journeyed. Without her, his robotic life would surely remain imprisoned in a colorless existence, adrift in a tumultuous sea.

Wow. The picture draws me right in; I can almost feel the damp air on my face, smell the forest. Hear the mud squishing under my feet, too :XD:
Wonderful atmosphere.
