Another picture from that magnificent hoarfrost morning in December 2007 on the Horneboeg Heath at Hilversum/The Netherlands. Your wonderful reactions made me dig in my archive again. The light here is much bluer as the picture was taken about 1 1/2 hours earlier.
What a lovely scene! Hoarfrost makes everyday things, as simple as dried up weeds, look special. We used to live near a river, and during the colder winters, the hoarfrost would spread across the valley coating everything in its path, even our horses' eyelashes and the cats' whiskers . It truly was then a winter wonderland .
