Towards a new morning

Here my first submission after returning home from my stay on the coast of the Baltic Sea at Kiel, a stay which I shall never forget for the dramatic events taking place in this period. Now that I am home again, I am very, very, very happy that everything went so well after all. It is really a miracle what doctors can do today! I shall for ever be grateful to the neurosurgeon at that Kiel University Hospital who enabled me to leave the hospital on my two own feet. Yesterday we came home, and to tell you the best, I even did a first short and cautious trip on my bike again this morning. Just to see and smell the forest again!!!
So life will continue, and I hope to be taking new pictures here again very quickly. This time I offer you a shot taken at Kiel a few weeks ago during those first days of my visit up there when I did not yet know what I was up for. For me this sunrise picture today symbolizes the opportunities of a new start! A new morning being full of the promise of uncounted new possibilities! I shall try my best to make some of them come true. To cite one of my most beloved quotes by T.S. Eliot: “There is only the trying …”
